GALIGAK is an independent clothing project interested in the relationship between fabric, shape and the moving body.
Each piece develops from a material, a construction detail or an idea about how clothing could feel and function. The process is exploratory and hands-on, with an emphasis on natural fabrics, useful details and silhouettes that leave room for movement.
Collections are produced thoughtfully and in limited quantities, allowing every design to keep its own character.
Materials
Materials are chosen for their texture, movement and ability to change beautifully over time. Natural and responsibly sourced fabrics are preferred wherever possible, with attention given to durability, comfort and the way each material behaves when worn.
Fabric information and care guidance are included with every piece so that garments can be worn and looked after for longer.
